I have tried various drugstore brand (sally hansen, l'oreal, and a sephora one) all of which are too RUNNY! I had to put like 3 coats of white which would never dry and still I was unhappy with the coverage.
So can anyone reccommend a good brand of white nail polish that will cover my nails and not take a billion layers to do so?
Will choose a best answer! thanks :)What is a good brand of nail polish for painting my whole nails white?
try merle norman, opi, sally hansen one coat and yes wet and wild one coat. nail polishes react to your nails just like other products do to you skin. If your nail bed if dry or oily different brands will or will not give you good coverage. You might want to try out the door for a finishing polish it dries your polish extremely fast and wont chip on you.What is a good brand of nail polish for painting my whole nails white?
I love to paint my nails white and I always use OPI. Actually my toe nails are painted white right now. :D
Go to your nearest MAC counter (or MacCosmetics.com) and get Vestral White Nail Laquer. It takes two coats to get an opaque (not see through) look. I recommend a base coat and a top coat to make it last.
It's the best white polish I've seen, and I've tried many!
OPI is the besstt. I have alott of their colors. I haven't tried their white though, but if it's the same as all their other colors, then it will be amazingg.
I think the shade is called ';birthday babe';
Oh wait I found the site:

I'm not sure if they'd have it in your everyday store, so you might have to go to a nail salon to purchase it, or order it online.
I know you mentioned that you didn't like Sally Hansen, I used to be the same way until I tried their Salon line. They do have a white colour. The coverage and durability of these polishes is absolutely amazing. I would suggest that you stay away from the Hard as Nails line but this one is stellar. I also really like NYX polish. They only take two coats and dry really quick.
