won't come off with water...any ideas? Anyone ever sanded a glass table?! Agggggghhhhh!!!! :(Husband's gonna kill me, just spilt nail polish remover on frosted glass table-went white?
It depends on the table you have. If it is actual frosted glass then it would not be affected by nail polish remover as it is basically just glass that is covered in loads of scratches, and so you would be fine and just need to clean it off.
But, if it is one of those tables with the frosted patterns then they are made by having a thin vinyl film over the top of the glass which gives them the appearance of being frosted glass. And of course the acetate in your nail polish remover will react with the vinyl in the film to make vinyl acetate, so unfortunately there is nothing you can do to clean that off.Husband's gonna kill me, just spilt nail polish remover on frosted glass table-went white?
try prit stick and sugar might appear as it did before you spilt the varnish remover :)
YIKES! You can try mineral spirits but, that nail polish remover could very well have eaten through the glass etching. Get a real pretty table cloth, fix a fantastic dinner, drink some wine andddddd maybe he won't notice.
try bakeing soda with vinegar or lemon juice what ever you have or mix vinegar and lemon juice with white spirit GO GO GO before you get killed !!
i dont think you have a hope. daughter left some open the other day then spilled it over tv and remote. they look like theyre melting in places.
