the answer to this is ';maybe';-it depends on what kind of material your shirt is made from. Synthetic fabrics can and will dissolve in nail polish remover, cotton or other natural fabrics will not. you could try testing a tiny drop of remover on the inside seam or under the hem of the shirt, if you're not sure.I got nail polish on a white shirt. Will nail polish remover wreck it?
Try a dry cleaner, first. If the dry cleaner cannot get it out, then try the nail polish remover. What do you have to lose at that point?I got nail polish on a white shirt. Will nail polish remover wreck it?
yes
Nail polish remover is like bleach! It will make your shirt got yeloow, or somthing. try scrubbing it with laundry soap or go to the shop and buy stain remover (make sure you look on the back of the product to see if it works on nailpolish)
Good luck!
YES! Go ask someone at a laundromat!
If I were you I would give it a try! what have you got to loose !
Yes, take a damp cloth and blot it out, don't rub it will spread it and make it worse. It obviously won't come all the way out, so let it dry and then use a little bit of stain remover like Zout on the spot where the nail polish is and gently rub it in with something like and old toothbrush. Then put the shirt into the washing machine with other whites only and it shoud be fine. 鈾?Emily
Your shirt is already ruined because u have nail polish on it. Using remover may work. I had nailpolish on my sheets and nothing i tried got it out, but they had also gone through the dryer and set the stain soooo.. I would try it anyways, what have u got to lose??
