to have your nail tips white, you should use a white nail polish and paint your nails where its more opaque. I would recommend you to buy sally hussen nail polish, the one made specially for french medicure, they last longer. You might one to buy those french medicure sticker guide to help you paint the white part more evenly. i would usually just use tape tho.
if you cant stand the smell of nail polish ( i love it ^_^) , you may also buy those white stick for eyes , and color the underneath of your nails as substitution.

if you want to do it yourself they make kits with stickers you put on your nails so it looks nice of course you take them off when your done haha oha and when your done you but clear nailpolish on
it is coated with white nail polish.. only the edge of the nails will be coated with white polish and the rest would be coated with a colorless nail polish
paint them with white nail polish...duhh. its called french tip.
