I think that nail varnish remover or bleach should work. How do i get red nail varnish out of a white woollen jumper?
Well, I would try scratching it off but if that doesn't work, I strongly suggest that as it's both expensive and new, you do NOT try any solvent but take it directly to a reputable dry-cleaner and ask them to remove it.

Dry cleaners are expert at this but the thing that makes their job hardest and at times impossible is someone messing with solvents before they take it to the dry cleaner. This will often spread the stain and make it impossible to remove - especially with white clothes.
have you tried the chewing gum removers that freeze it
If the jumper is real wool with no man made fibres then acetone (used in nail varnish remover) will work well. Place a pad of absorbent cotton underneath the stain and dab (not rub) the stain with a cotton cloth soaked in the acetone - this will stop the stain spreading. Turn the underside pad and repeat until the stain goes. To be safe try a bit of the acetone on a hidden bit of the garment (an inside hem) just to make sure its real wool. Acetone is highly flammable to no flames or ciggies nearby!
dye the jumper red
a pair of scissors should do the trick
rub a nail polish remover pad over the stain or try a stick of vanish on it.
have you tried vanish
with a lot of bloody trouble!!!!!
