What does it mean when a little white dot is on your finger nail?

you know how sometimes your finger nail has a little white dot that appears every once in a while?? well what does that mean? What does it mean when a little white dot is on your finger nail?
A white mark on finger or toe nails may be a previous unnoticed injury only appearing later after the nail has grown out.

It could be related to diet, nail growth or your immune system and a deficiency of some kind of nutrient, not necessarily lack of calcium, maybe lack of zinc.

Basically if it doesn't happen frequently, don't worry about it.What does it mean when a little white dot is on your finger nail?
Someone loves you... in myth of course.

No you don't have low calcium, if you did your whole fingernail would of been white.

They are called punctate leukonychia in the medical field, but we get them all the time from hitting our nails or allergic reactions from nail polish and the such. But nothing to worry about unless they are overwhelming and constant.
