How do I renew the white tip on a nail which has grown after having a tip attached and overlayed with acrylic?

I have just completed a course on liquid and powder overlays (acrylic) and was wondering after attaching a tip which is either white or clear and then overlaying with either liquid %26amp; powder (acrylic), gel or fibreglass/silk, how i restore the french polish look that i started off as the nail grows and i have to infill ?

you have to use a drill but they don't teach you this in college, you drill across the smile line just down to the natural nail and fill in the space with your white acrylic, file down again with file and white block to remove any lumps and bumps, buff and cover with a layer of gloss gel, cure for 2 minutes. How do I renew the white tip on a nail which has grown after having a tip attached and overlayed with acrylic?
If you used a white tip to start with, when doing infills you will have to use white powder or gel to restore the white tip u need. Remember to file the nail down first as it may be too long since the first tip application.
