How do you get the tips of your fingernails white without applying nail polish?

The tips of my nails are clear and I don't know why. So, what can I do to get them white? How do you get the tips of your fingernails white without applying nail polish?
paint them white? How do you get the tips of your fingernails white without applying nail polish?
My tips have always been so white, that I never understood why people 'painted' theirs.....All my life, I have been a big milk drinker, so maybe lots of calcium does it? You could ask a doctor, but frankly, if your nails are healthy,(not brittle), then just be glad for that.........
Get a French Manicure done! That will make the tips of your nails white!
There are white pencils/pens just for nails. Sally Hansen sells a 2-in-1 manicure pencil that is used for your problem and the results are very natural looking.
Keep your nails manicured and oiled IE. clean at all times brushed under nails.
Andie, you need to invest in dairy products, dark leafy greens, and dark red kidney beans. You need to increase the amount of calcium that exists in your diet, because that is what determines the whiteness of your nails. Yogurt is a favorite of mine as well as spinach and dark red kidney beans go great in salad or chili, so there are definitely ways to include these foods easily. Obviously you won't see a result overnight, but give it two to three weeks and you'll notice the change.

Besides, you're doing yourself a favor, since calcium is so necessary for women as they age and go through pregnancy and menopause and all the other hormonal changes that bring on the osteoporosis.
its normal that your tips are clear. they wont be ';white'; unless polish is applied
white nails are sign of fungus infection

thank God 4 ur nails being clear
The Sally Hansen Beauty Product Line makes a nail whitening pencil. To apply, simply sharpen the pencil, moisten the tip with water, and sweep it under your nails.

You should be able to find it at Target in the nail product aisle. It's a white pencil that looks like an eyeliner pencil.
