Best to get a professional carpet cleaner to do the job properly. If you do it yourself, the stain may become permanent.Carpet Stain: What is the best way to get red nail polish out of white carpet without leaving bleach stains?
Replace the carpet .... Cut out the bad area and replace with a piece from inside a closet or extra you might find in a storage area. You wont get the stain out... A carpet installer or sometimes carpet cleaners can do this for you for very little money...
Finger nail polish remover, ie. Acetone. but not pure Acetone this will melt the carpet fiber, your best bet is finger nail polish remover, or lacquer thinner.
use paint remover and shampoo the carpet.
