How do you get nail polish out of white carpet?

i split pink nail polish on a white carpet this morning and im trying to get rid of it before my mom sees! i tried nail polish remover and soap and water! please help!How do you get nail polish out of white carpet?
It happened to me before, and I used Isopropyl Alcohol (91% alcohol), because it dissolves nail polish pretty well.





If you don't have it, maybe you have can find vodka (50% alcohol).


I think it should work as well, or in worst case you can apply more polish remover, but in any case you'll have to be quick with cleaning, because all of them evaporate fast.

If the nap is tall enough snip off the threads. You could go to a closet and snip some threads off and fabric glue them on over the stain.





You can get fabric glue at a craft store.
dnt cut the carpet. or use nailpolish remover this will just smudge it. use window cleaner it works a treat.
your screwed. theres nothing to take that out. just tell your mom what happened its better for you to tell her before she finds out herself. accidents happen
scissors -but since the carpet isn't yours, inform your parents before you destroy it even more.
I would cut the fibre out and repatch
